The GOP currently holds the majority with 54 seats, meaning that Democrats need a net gain of 4 seats to win control of the upper chamber for the next 2 years if Hillary Clinton wins the presidency or a net gain of 5 should Donald Trump prevail.

2). Wisconsin: Republican Sen. Ron Johnson v Democratic former Sen. Russ Feingold
3). Pennsylvania: Republican Sen. Pat Toomey v Democrat Katie McGinty
4). Indiana: Republican Rep. Todd Young v Democrat Evan Bayh
