Quinlan & Associates, a strategy consulting firm, reports that the #1 source of dissatisfaction (what? Wall Street people are dissatisfied??) isn't compensation – based on a survey of over 1,000 banking employees.
No, it’s Promotions (or the lack thereof), according to 37% of respondents. And, second on the list is …. Mentoring at their current employer.
Compensation takes a close third on the list, with 32% of respondents.
