As of March 6, 2017, the Bloomberg Billionaires Index is a daily ranking of the world’s 500 richest people. Details about the calculations are provided in the net worth analysis on each billionaire’s profile page. The figures are updated at the close of every trading day in New York.
Noticeably absent are two native New Yorkers: Michael Bloomberg and Donald Trump. Mr. Bloomberg apparently has opted out of his publication's listing, for privacy reasons. According to Forbes, Mr. Bloomberg has an estimated net worth in excess of $47 bllion.
As far as Donald Trump is concerned, his estimated net worth doesn't qualify among the 500 richest billionaires. According to poynter.com, he's supposedly worth around $3 billion.
